During Thomas' ride across Australia, the PanzerGlass Team follow behind and organise Hammer Days and events at various locations along the route to create a buzz and awareness for the good cause and Ride for Kids.
For every PanzerGlass™ screen protector sold through our channel partner Telstra, PanzerGlass will in conjunction with Telstra donate $2.00 AUD to Ride 4 Kids to help Thomas achieve the target of raising AUD 150.000 for the Starlight Children's Foundation to help brighten children's lives at hospitals in Australia.
Ride for Kids 2018 takes place between the 28th of February and the 1st of April and will have riders from Australia, Denmark, England, and the USA joining Thomas Sørensen. Ride for Kids consists of three main stages; Adelaide-Melbourne, Tasmania, and Melbourne-Sydney.
Thomas will be organising the trip by himself with help from his family, while his crew along with the PanzerGlass Team will support him every kilometre.
The event is all about bringing people together for a common cause; Uniting the joy of cycling with the passion to help others to brighten children's lives.
Thomas Sørensen, played two FIFA World Cups, 364 EPL games and two A-League seasons before retiring. An impressive feat for the now-former professional soccer player, who is now focusing on raising money to brighten children's hospital experience.
Since 2005, Thomas has been involved in charity work, especially for sick and disadvantaged children. In 2015 he did a bike ride across the USA and raised $150.000 AUD for the good cause.
All funds raised by Thomas Sørensen during Ride for Kids go to the Starlight Children's Foundation Australia.
